Where do I Drop-off and Pick-up my student?
Before and after school.We request parents drop off and pick up students in the rear of the building.This elevates stress from the front of building while buses are dropping off and picking up.(N. 700 Entry, N. 800 Entry, W. 900 Entry and N. 600 Entry)
8:00-3:00: Call the school line 780-7140 then press #1 to reach the attendance office.Please let the ladies know the time your student needs to be released or will be arriving.All students that arrive after 8:00am must report to the attendance office located on the NE side of the school in the Auditorium/N. 600 Entry.
Parents do not need to enter the building to sign in or sign out students
Where do I enter for evening events at Olathe North?
Always look for event entrance signs.
Athletics and other events being hosted in the gyms and commons please enter in N. 700 entry.
Activities and other events being hosted in the auditorium please enter in the attendance/600 entry.
What if I need to drop off an item for my student?
Please come to the front of the school through the main entrance and leave the item in a numbered cubby and text your student that it is there.
Can I bring fast food for my student?Is my student allowed to order take out to the high school?
No, we do not allow fast-food or take out for students at Olathe North.
Do I need a photo ID to enter Olathe North?
Yes, All Olathe high schools have the ADS camera/door bell system in full operation.
Why should I buy an athletic pass for my student or myself?
Student tickets are $5/game and adult tickets are $7/game.If you attend more than 7 events your pass is paid for.
What is Eagle Halftime?
It is a 50 minute period daily that will allow students the opportunity to visit teachers, have lunch, join a club, or decompress.
Each teacher is assigned either an office hour A or B.Students will have the opportunity to receive academic help during this time.
What are the lunchroom procedures?
With Eagle Halftime all 2,100 students will be released for a 50 minute lunch/office hour opportunity.
Students will need to know there student ID number or have an ID to purchase meals.
Students will have an opportunity to eat in many locations throughout the building.
There will be specific tables and appropriate signage for food allergy students.
Can my student charge for lunch?
No, It is district policy in all Olathe High Schools to not allow students to charge.
Money can be placed on your child’s account through mypaymentsplus.You can also set a low meal balance notification, which will let you know when your student needs more money in their account.
When does my child get their PE Uniform?
All freshman are required to wear a P.E. uniform their freshman year.
Students will receive their uniform the first week of P.E.
They will not need a uniform any other year they take a Physical Ed Class.

Where is Visitor Parking?
We have 10 spots in the front lot.
We have approx. 15 spots in the staff lot across the street.If it does not have a visitor sign please do not park there.It is a staff members spot.
Where are varsity athletic events held?
ODAC, CBAC, and the ON Gym
Will my student receive a Locker?
All freshman will be assigned a locker and a combination.
Upper classman will have an opportunity to request a locker if wanted.
If I have a concern who do I contact?
We follow the chain of Command at Olathe North.Most conflicts can be resolved at the lowest level.
If the concern starts with teacher or coach you start there.If you do not feel the concern was resolved see an asst. principal or counselor.If the concern is still not resolved make an appointment to meet with the principal.If your concern still isn’t resolved please contact executive director of secondary at the district office.
