New continuous learning opportunities are now available for each grade level and content area at www.olatheschools.org/ContinuousLearning beginning tonight at 5 p.m. Based on feedback we’ve received, new Continuous Learning content will be released on Sundays at 5 p.m. moving forward. Thank you for your feedback as we work to make Continuous Learning work for Olathe families.
Step-by-step instructions lead online learners through grade level or course specific continuous learning opportunities. Visit www.olatheschools.org/ContinuousLearning to get started. Students who are off-screen learners will be provided paper packets with new content each week to continue learning. These packets will be available to print from the website or to pick up at the food distribution sites on Mondays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Central, Fairview, Havencroft, Indian Creek, Northview, Ridgeview, Rolling Ridge, Washington and Westview elementary schools. Read more about food distribution here: https://bit.ly/2VbXppk.
We do have one small change to our meal distribution program. Beginning Monday, April 13, for families driving to pick up meals, we ask that they pull forward and open their trunk so that staff members can place meals into the trunk. This will further limit person-to-person contact as an additional precaution to keep families and staff members safe.
We are also thrilled to report that this week’s lessons include challenge boards for PK-8, an additional educational tool to keep our students learning and growing.
District technology support is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Technology will be providing support via email. Parents can email our Help Desk firstname.lastname@example.org for district related technology support.
Teachers and principals will be available to answer questions related to continuous learning and will respond within 24 hours (Monday through Friday). For questions related to Continuous Learning, please contact your teacher or principal.
Thank you for your patience as we work to engage learners during an unprecedented time.
