Prom Talks Assistant Principal Mrs. Jennifer Noteboom prepared a video called "Prom Talks" sharing all of the information students need to know about this Saturday. Please review the video and have a crucial conversation about the choices the kids make. It is invaluable that students know that this is a school sponsored event and any choices they make could impact the final weeks of school. We would not want to suspend any athletes or activity members from participating in the end of the year events, and we certainly do not want to not allow seniors to walk at graduation. Ultimately safety of our students on this exciting evening is everyone's priority.

Attendance Voice Mail4/20/2017 Parents please feel free to leave a pleasant message on the attendance voicemail if your student will be late, leaving, or absent. My attendance receptionists are not able to answer all calls in person. If you leave a message they will get to it. They are checking the messages constantly throughout the day and will receive your message.
We have had students express to us that their parents are frustrated because they are not sure if we are receiving the message. This communication is to ensure you that we are checking the voicemail and we have encouraged quite a few students to tell their parents to leave a message and we will receive it. Thank you so much for your help in this matter.

The Brand New Principal Blog4/13/2017 ![]() Dear Olathe North Families, In an attempt to step up better communication to Olathe North families I am creating this blog in lieu of the bi-weekly newsletter. The convenience of continuing to update and archive all announcements, celebrations, and imperative information in one location will make it easier for anyone to find. Now ON families will not have to sift through emails to open the attachment to find my newsletter. As I build this site you will be able to work through the menu in the top left to find specific pages you are personally interested in. I will continue to celebrate students and staff , make important announcements and updates, and share fundraising opportunities for our ON groups. On the left you can find archived information and select what blog you are interested in reading. I am always looking to communicate and celebrate better with our community. Please feel free to send me an email with any and all suggestions to better communicate. The Olathe North staff will work hard to uphold the mission of our school, “While celebrating diversity, our mission is to develop adaptive, responsible citizens through relationships, rigor, relevance and resilience.” We live by simple words, “You’re in high school once, but you’re an Eagle Forever!” Let’s have a great year. Jason Herman Principal Olathe North High School
